How Does the Laser Shrink the Fat Cells?

Laser procedures at Maxi Medicare Laser Lipo are performed by a highly qualified, licensed Therapists. You can be confident that you will get the best possible results. If you have any questions before, during, or after your treatment, you will get the one-on-one attention you deserve.

At Maxi Medicare Laser Lipo the doctor places four paddles containing a total of 36 medical diode lasers directly on the skin over the targeted fat area as you simply lay back and relax. The entire procedure is completely painless. Depending on the area to be treated, and how much fat you want to lose, the medical lasers will be repositioned 2 or 3 times during the treatment session over your most troublesome fat pockets. Each medical laser treatment generally lasts about 20 minutes.

The specific wavelength of laser light is bioactive and the laser energy is able to change the permeability of the adipose cell membrane, commonly known as the fat cell. As the permeability of the adipose cell membrane is changed, the adipose cell releases its contents of free fatty acids, glycerol, and water. This is a natural process similar to the process by which exercise creates fat loss by encouraging the fat to leave the adipose cells. The difference is that the laser lipo technology is able to expedite this process through the use of the multiple medical lasers. The key to this new technology is that these sophisticated lasers can directly TARGET and SHRINK your problem areas. Simply put, this is why medical lasers can contour and reduce your stubborn fat deposits much more effectively than only diet and exercise.

Treatment Process

It's a simple 5-steps process which can reduce inches off target areas:
  • 1. Complete a consultation form/medical questionnaire; target areas are measured; and four large Diode laser paddles are placed on the fatty areas

  • 2. Two smaller Probe lasers are placed over lymphatic glands and held in place by underwear

  • 3. The Laser Lipo will then be switched on for 20 minutes, relocated and turned on for another 20 minutes and repeated again

  • 4. The treated area will be measured to assess inch loss achieved and depending on the client results are expected to be between 0.5 and 3 inches

  • 5. This is rounded off by 15-minute Vibration Training on the Reviber Machine to help break down the fat cells

  • Cell Breakdown

The breaking down of the fat cells starts when the laser penetrates the skin and makes contact with the fat cells. Pores form on the cells causing them to 'sweat'. The water, Glycerol and free fatty acids emerge from the cells and then occupy the space beneath the fatty layer in the skin.

    Lymphatic Drainage

The fat cells reduce in size and the lymphatic system then removes the fatty liquids through the venous system, where they are processed in the same way as fatty foods that are digested. Not only is the procedure quick, safe and pain-free, it is also healthy.

    After Care

After Care advice encourages clients to follow a sensible health and exercise routine. The Laser Lipo procedure does not harm the body in any way and will still maintain its ability to store fat in the areas where the work has been carried out. This is an important health factor as it prevents the fat being stored in different parts such as around the heart or other vital organs. If clients eat sensibly and regularly, combined with exercise, the body shape will retain the effects of the Laser Lipo treatment.
